NestMap ("we", "us") operates the NestMap mobile app and website (the "Service"), an India-focused real-estate marketplace. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and your rights under applicable Indian law including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000.

1. Information we collect

Account data you provide: name, email, phone number, password, profile photo, and your role (buyer, seller or dealer). Listings & content: property details, photos, videos (reels), prices, and messages you send. Location: approximate or precise location when you choose to share it (to show nearby listings or attach a location to a chat). Usage data: views, saves, and basic device/diagnostic information used to keep the Service working and improve it.

2. How we use your data

To create and manage your account; show and rank listings; enable chat, offers and notifications; generate optional AI ad copy; prevent fraud and abuse; provide customer support; and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal data.

3. Sharing

Your public profile (name, photo, ratings) and your active listings are visible to other users and on the public web. Your phone number and email are notshown publicly. We use trusted processors to run the Service — Supabase (database & storage), and, only when you generate AI ad copy, Google (Gemini). We may disclose data where required by law or to protect users.

4. Your rights & choices

You can access and edit your profile, export your data, and permanently delete your account at any time from Profile → Privacy & security in the app. Deleting your account removes your listings, messages and profile. You can manage location and notification permissions in your device settings.

5. Data retention & security

We keep your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service and meet legal requirements. Access is protected by row-level security and encryption in transit. No method of transmission is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

6. Children

The Service is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

7. Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be notified in the app. Continued use means you accept the updated policy.
